PhD, orthopedic trauma surgeon of higher qualification degree, member of the Belarusian Republican Scientific and Practical Society of Trauma and Orthopedic Surgeons, the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, AOTrauma, Deutsche Gesellschaft für Unfallchirurgie, SICOT, EFORT (European Federation of National Associations of Orthopedics and Traumatology, OTA (Orthopaedic Trauma Accosiation of North America).

Advanced training programs and research activities

In 2005 he defended his thesis on "Diagnosis and treatment of subcutaneous ruptures of the Achilles tendon".

Six-month internship at the Clinic of Traumatology at Hannover Medical School, Germany (Medizinische Hochschule Hannover) under the guidance of Professor CH. Krettek (2001-2002) (DAAD grant).

Grant of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons implying the visit to the leading trauma centers in the United States (2009), Modern Strategy and Tactics in Complex Injuries of Extremities course (Chicago, November 2009).

AOTrauma Course - Basic Principles of Fracture Management (Moscow, November 2011), Advanced Principles of Fracture Management course (Davos, Switzerland, December 2015).

Author of more than 70 publications, 5 patents of the Republic of Belarus.

Professional career and relevant experience in the Republic of Belarus

The Head of the laboratory since 2008

Performs all types of surgery in traumatic pathology. Areas of interest include minimally invasive treatments for traumatic injuries of the skeleton, the development of a fixator for osteosynthesis, computer simulation of surgical pathology of the Achilles tendon and foot.

International Activity (mostly within AOTrauma):

Translation of AO Principles of Fracture Management (Thieme, 2008) into the Russian language (as a sole translator). Russian edition was published in 2013(

Translation of Manual of Soft-Tissue Management in Orthopedic Trauma (AOTrauma- Thieme) into the Russian language (as a sole translator). Russian edition was published in 2016.
