Sin embargo, estos procedimientos requieren un alto nivel de destreza por parte del profesional m\u00e9dico debido a la complejidad de la articulaci\u00f3n y a la diversidad de enfermedades relacionadas. Una cirug\u00eda inadecuada puede aumentar la incidencia de complicaciones y mitigar el efecto curativo. Para los estudiantes de ortopedia, estas operaciones representan un reto de aprendizaje.  Los aspectos espec\u00edficos de la artroscopia implican t\u00e9cnicas quir\u00fargicas que requieren a los cirujanos visualizar mentalmente un entorno tridimensional a partir de im\u00e1genes bidimensionales y realizar la cirug\u00eda mediante una coordinaci\u00f3n mano-ojo espec\u00edfica con escasa retroalimentaci\u00f3n t\u00e1ctil.<\/p><p class=\"main-text paragraph\">En vista de estos retos, mejorar la formaci\u00f3n en anatom\u00eda articular era una de las principales prioridades de nuestro cliente*, una importante instituci\u00f3n educativa del sector sanitario.  Exist\u00edan muy pocos simuladores adecuados para los procedimientos ortop\u00e9dicos en general y para la artroscopia de mu\u00f1eca en particular. Considerando el limitado campo de visi\u00f3n y la reducida interacci\u00f3n m\u00e9dico-paciente, el cliente lleg\u00f3 a la conclusi\u00f3n de que la formaci\u00f3n con RV era la soluci\u00f3n m\u00e1s viable. Por ello, recurrieron a VOKA para asistencia en el desarrollo del simulador.<\/p><h2 class=\"title-2\">DESARROLLO COLABORATIVO<div class=\"line\"><\/div><\/h2><p class=\"main-text paragraph\">Para mantener un alto nivel m\u00e9dico y garantizar la precisi\u00f3n, involucramos a cirujanos ortop\u00e9dicos en el proceso de desarrollo. Sus aportaciones determinaron el dise\u00f1o, las caracter\u00edsticas y los m\u00f3dulos de formaci\u00f3n, creando una experiencia de aprendizaje aut\u00e9ntica y destacando los retos t\u00e9cnicos y psicomotores cr\u00edticos a los que se enfrentan los profesionales m\u00e9dicos.\u00a0<\/p><h2 class=\"title-2\">CARACTER\u00cdSTICAS PRINCIPALES<div class=\"line\"><\/div><\/h2><h3 class=\"title-3\">Anatom\u00eda de alta precisi\u00f3n:<\/h3><p class=\"main-text paragraph\">El simulador presenta modelos de las articulaciones anat\u00f3micamente precisos en 3D basados en Unity, que muestran los detalles de huesos, ligamentos, tendones, nervios y vasos sangu\u00edneos. Esta visualizaci\u00f3n multicapa permite a los estudiantes comprender las relaciones espaciales dentro de las articulaciones.\u00a0<\/p><h3 class=\"title-3\">Simulaci\u00f3n quir\u00fargica realista:<\/h3><p class=\"main-text paragraph\">El simulador sumerge a los estudiantes en un entorno de quir\u00f3fano virtual que permite posicionar y manipular al paciente de forma realista. Pueden practicar una serie de procedimientos ortop\u00e9dicos, incluyendo la artroscopia de mu\u00f1eca.\u00a0<\/p><p class=\"main-text paragraph\">El procedimiento de artroscopia de muestra consta de los siguientes pasos clave:<\/p><ul class=\"list dot\"><li class=\"main-text\">Colocaci\u00f3n del portal:<br\/>Identificar y establecer con precisi\u00f3n portales artrosc\u00f3picos utilizando agujas y c\u00e1nulas virtuales, recibiendo retroalimentaci\u00f3n h\u00e1ptica que simula la resistencia del tejido.<\/li><li class=\"main-text\">Navegaci\u00f3n por instrumentos:<br\/>Maniobrar instrumentos artrosc\u00f3picos, como sondas, rasuradoras, graspers, dentro del espacio articular, desarrollando la coordinaci\u00f3n mano-ojo y la conciencia espacial que son extremadamente dif\u00edciles de desarrollar de otro modo.<\/li><li class=\"main-text\">Reconocimiento y gesti\u00f3n de patolog\u00edas:<br\/>El simulador presenta diversas patolog\u00edas de la mu\u00f1eca (por ejemplo, desgarros del complejo triangular del fibrocart\u00edlago (TFCC), lesiones del ligamento escafolunar, s\u00edndrome del t\u00fanel carpiano), lo que permite a los alumnos diagnosticar y aplicar las t\u00e9cnicas quir\u00fargicas pertinentes sin riesgos.<\/li><\/ul><h3 class=\"title-3\">M\u00f3dulos de aprendizaje progresivo:<\/h3><p class=\"main-text paragraph\">Los m\u00f3dulos de formaci\u00f3n comienzan con la identificaci\u00f3n de la anatom\u00eda b\u00e1sica y avanzan hacia casos quir\u00fargicos m\u00e1s complejos. Este enfoque gradual ayuda a crear una confianza que luego es inestimable en el quir\u00f3fano real.<\/p><h3 class=\"title-3\">Retroalimentaci\u00f3n y evaluaci\u00f3n del rendimiento:<\/h3><p class=\"main-text paragraph\">El simulador proporciona informaci\u00f3n en tiempo real sobre el rendimiento del usuario, el manejo de los instrumentos y la toma de decisiones sobre la marcha.  Los datos objetivos permiten a los alumnos hacer un seguimiento de sus progresos e identificar \u00e1reas de mejora. Adem\u00e1s, ha permitido desarrollar m\u00f3dulos de formaci\u00f3n con una complejidad gradualmente creciente.<\/p><h3 class=\"title-3\">Modelado 3D e integraci\u00f3n con Unity:<\/h3><p class=\"main-text paragraph\">Para planificar incisiones quir\u00fargicas que simulen la interacci\u00f3n f\u00edsica de los tejidos y reproduzcan la c\u00e1mara de un laparoscopio, el equipo de VOKA emple\u00f3 modelos Unity 3D multicapa de la mu\u00f1eca. Estos modelos se crearon utilizando im\u00e1genes m\u00e9dicas de alta resoluci\u00f3n que permitieron crear presentaciones detalladas de los huesos, articulaciones y ligamentos de la mu\u00f1eca, entre otros.
