3D Model of Soft Deposits

Soft deposits, commonly known as dental plaque, are a sticky, colorless film of bacteria that continuously forms on the teeth. Plaque builds up along the gumline and between teeth, feeding on sugars from food and beverages. If not regularly removed through brushing and flossing, plaque can lead to tooth decay, gingivitis, and eventually periodontitis. When left untreated, soft deposits harden into tartar, which can only be removed by a dental professional.
