3D Model of Bartholinitis

Bartholinitis is the inflammation of one or both of the Bartholin glands, located near the vaginal opening. These glands produce lubrication for the vulva, and when blocked, they can become infected, leading to pain, swelling, and sometimes the formation of an abscess. Treatment may involve antibiotics or surgical drainage if an abscess forms. In recurrent cases, removal of the gland may be considered. Learn more with our 3D model of Bartholinitis.
