We’re proud to share that VOKA has won a Silver Award at the 2026 W3 Awards for our 3D medical animation, What Really Happens During Rhinoplasty. The video was recognized in the General Video – Healthcare & Pharmaceutical category, which celebrates digital video work created for healthcare, pharmaceutical, and related fields.

About our rhinoplasty animation

Rhinoplasty involves changes to anatomical structures that are difficult to see from the outside. For patients, students, and healthcare professionals, that can make the procedure hard to picture from photographs or text alone.

In this project, we wanted to make those changes easier to follow. We used 3D animation to show the anatomy before surgery, highlight the structures involved, and follow how they change throughout the procedure.

We also used 3D to show the surgery from angles that would be impossible to capture with a conventional camera. We could move inside the anatomy, isolate individual structures, and focus on specific steps when needed. This helped us keep the animation informative without making it feel overloaded with detail.

What this award means for VOKA

We’re proud to see our video recognized alongside work from creative teams around the world.

For VOKA, awards like this are especially valuable because they recognize both sides of medical visualization: the quality of the creative work and the ability to communicate a complex subject clearly.

We’ll keep working on new ways to make medical and scientific information easier to see, understand, and remember through 3D visualization.
